April 4, 2011: President Barrack Obama Announces Second Term

Today president Barrack Obama announced that he will be running for a second term.  He has made a lot of progress and tough decisions this year despite being constantly roadblocked by Republicans. This country is better off than it was when he took office.

Jobs are coming back (at it's lowest rates in two years), the automobile companies are profiting again and improvements to are infrastructure are being made.  He has passed Health Care, Don't Ask Don't Tell, The Equal Pay Act for Women, Wall Street and Bank Reforms to name a few.  Has he been perfect, NO.  Is he continuing to work towards leading us in the right direction, Yes.  Now is not the time for backsliding.  Let's continue moving forward.  Four More Years!!!!

Today's not only Jay's three year anniversary it's also the day he launches his first lifestyle site:  Life And Times. A big move for the internet shy, rapper.

The sight is based on Jay's own interests.  It showcases art, music, politics, sports, fashion and more.  

It's a site that plays on the visual and is very forward, as you would expect from him.  Head over and check the site out.

The Big 3: Jay-Z & Beyonce' Celebrate 3rd Anniversary in the Bahamas

On April 4, 2008 Jay & B officially became the Carters.  This year they spent their anniversary enjoying some together time in the Bahamas.  It's Spring and love is in the air.  Next up album promotion for B and album completion for Jay.  He's hair is still long so that means he's still recording.  I wonder if it's still for the joint album with Kanye or is he already working on his next solo album?

Last week, B was in New Jersey filming scenes for her first video, off her 4th album, which is rumored to be called: Round lV.  She was dressed in Roberto Cavalli, who revealed the info via Twitter after pictures surfaced on the net late last week. Keeping the shoot true to the retro feel of the album, the scenes were shot at an abandoned hotel.
