Mommy's World: Tamar Braxton Shows Off Little Logan + Talks To GMA About Motherhood & Every Mommy's Biggest Fears....

Today new mommy, Tamar Braxton showed off her and hubby, Vince's pride andjoy, their baby boy Logan Vincent Herbert, who was born on June 6.  The pictures were revealed by GMA and appear in this week's US Magazine -- who sat down with the new parents for a photo shoot.

In the magazine Tamar talked about her  delivery room experience, "Vincent had a Hugh Hefner robe on and was doling out orders to everyone."  But Vince wasn't the only one of her family members living in the moment,  big sister, Toni was giving out her own orders too.  "And my sister Toni was giving unsolicited advice on how to push."

Tamar went on to say that Logan, is "the best newborn ever," adding "I'd know -- I have 13 nieces and nephews."

Although she adores and loves her baby boy, Tamar, admitted to GMA, during an interview that aired this morning, that she didn't fall in love with her son immediately and that when he didn't "latch" (breastfeed), at first, it made things worse.
“Well you know, I was questioning my motherhood. … Like, is this a mistake that God made? Or like, is this something that I need to hand over to my husband because he and the baby connected instantly. And I wanted that. And I guess I was a little jealous, pretty much. Am I being really honest here? I guess I am,” she said.
“When he finally latched on I felt like he got me and I got him and this was all meant to be,” she said. Braxton is now busier than ever. She’s working on her upcoming album, starring in a new WE tv reality show, “Tamar & Vince,” and hosting a new talk show, but she says being a mother is her number one priority. “I am very happy. I feel complete … he is the best thing that ever happened to me,” she said, speaking of her son.

But not to worry all is well now, she says Logan, "is the best thing that could have happened to her."

It was a brave revelation and one that doctors say that about "20 to 30 percent of moms feel" and could even be higher, but many women are to embarrassed to admit it.   Check out the full clip below.
Hopefully, Tamar has helped a new mom.

The Carter Life: Jay Z Surprises Beyoncé in Philadelphia...Drives B & Crowd Crazy

Jay made a surprise visit at the end of B's show in Philly, Thursday night.  While B was thanking the crowd and announcing her band and stage crew, Jay ran out and gave B, a kiss and a hug.

He surprised both the crowd and Mrs. Carter.  B had to take a minute to gather her composure...they are just to cute and so in love.

Check out the photo's B, uploaded on her site below.  I just luv the Carters!!!

Hov's House: Jay Z & Brooklyn's Barclays Center Becomes #1 Venue in U.S. Ticket Sales

The Barclays Center opened with eight sold-out Jay Z shows and it hasn't looked back since.  The House that Hov Built--okay I'll give the Nets some props too--is now the #1 ranked venue in the U.S. in ticket sales.  The arena raked in $46.9 million in its first year, alone.

Barclays ranks No. 3 worldwide in number of tickets sold and No. 2 globally in gross ticket sales revenue.  It is the top venue in the U.S. for ticket numbers and gate revenue, and second in the world only to the O2 arena in London.

The New York Daily News reports, it (Barclays Center) also sold three times more tickets than, its Manhattan neighbor, Madison Square Garden:
Brooklyn’s in the sold-out house. The Barclays Center, a magnet for music superstars during its first full year of business.  The new arena sold 657,423 tickets to concerts and family shows between Jan. 1 and June 30 — the highest figure in the U.S., Pollstar reported. The only buildings on the planet with better ticket sales numbers were the O2 arena in London and Manchester Arena in England — and only the O2 outgrossed Barclays Center.
How sweet it is.  How sweet it is.

Hova's Time: Jay Z & Elliott Wilson Talk "The Truth" and #FACTSONLY...Jay Talks "Magna Carta", Parenthood, Trayvon Martin & The Future of Rap

Jay & Elliott sat down for a #FACTSONLY interview last weekend, during Hov's Yankee Stadium 2-day stint.  It's a great interview and Jay didn't hold back.  No one gives a better Hov interview, in my opinion, than Elliott Wilson.

The interview is broken up into two parts.  In the first segment Jay talks about "Magna Carta," the Samsung deal and new legends.

In part 2, things get a little more personal. Jay talks about fatherhood, Trayvon Martin, his empire and much more.  Check out both interviews below.  Which are also featured on Jay's Life + Times.

Also check out photos of Jay attending the D'USSE Cognac Official Legends of the Summer After Party at Lumen on July 22, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois.  Jay and Justin performed at Solider Field in Chicago on Monday.

The Royals: Prince William & Kate Introduce George Alexander Louis...His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge

A day after Prince William & Kate introduced us to their 8 lbs. 6 oz. prince, they have let the world know the name of their precious bundle of joy.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son George Alexander Louis," reads a statement from Kensington Palace. "The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge."   (Source:  People)

People Magazine, also reports that the family is now spending some time with Kate's parents:
The prince was born Monday at London's St. Mary's hospital. After greeting the world outside the Lindo Wing of the hospital, spending his first night at home in Kensington Palace and meeting his great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, Prince George and his parents have headed to the home of Carole and Michael Middleton in Bucklebury, about 55 miles west of London, where they'll spend time with the proud grandparents.
Such a beautiful time for the family, I'm glad to see them bonding, before their royal duties start back up.

President Obama also sent out a special message to the family from him and Michelle.  You can read it and check out more pictures of the family below.

Hov's 13 #1 Again: Jay Z's "Magna.. Carta Holy Grail" is #1 Again..."MCHG" Extends His Hot 100 Legacy As Well...

Jay's "Magna Carta . . . Holy Grail" held its No. 1 spot for a second week on the Billboard 200, selling 129,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. "Magna Carta" debuted atop the list last week with 528,000. Making it the first rap album in nearly two years to spend two weeks at No. 1.

"Holy Grail,"--Jay's 20th top 10-- featuring Justin, remains at No. 8 on the Hot 100. The track is No.4 on Digital Songs selling an additional 166,000 copies, it moves 16-8 on Streaming Songs (3.4 million, up 63%) and 47-40 on Radio Songs (31 million, up 19%).

Nice.

"Magna Carta...Holy Grail" continues to build on Jay's chart legacy.  The album had seven titles debut on the Billboard Hot 100, an achievement that has now occurred just six times, all in the digital download era.  (Source:  Billboard)
Seven cuts from "Magna Carta… Holy Grail" debuted on the Hot 100, upping Jay-Z's career hits total to 79. The haul lifts him into fifth-place for the most appearances in the Hot 100's archives.  ( Source: Billboard)
As "Holy Grail" debuted on the Hot 100 at No. 8, Jay-Z racked his 20th top 10, extending his record for the most top 10s among rappers. In the Hot 100's nearly 55-year history, Jay-Z is just the 15th act to tally at least 20 top 10s. (Madonna leads with 38.)

The "Glee" Cast is #1 with 206 entries.  Jay passed Legends Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin to take his fifth position.  Read on for more of Jay's "Magna Carta" chart news.

Legends Of The Summer: Jay Z & Justin Dedicate "Forever Young" To Trayvon Martin, Take Yankee Stadium With Alicia Keys, Celebrate with Beyoncé & More....

I had the pleasure of attending Jay and Justin's show at Yankee Stadium on Friday.  It was quite a show. It was different from Jay's joint tours with Mary, Kanye and Eminem.  This one was more of a collaborative effort.

They opened up with "Holy Grail" before we even had a chance to breathe. Then the two swapped and shared the stage for a night of hits.

Justin played the guitar and the piano during some of Jay's performances.  He played guitar during "You Don't Know" and during "99 Problems" where he also played the voice of the cop--it was a pretty cool performance.

They had a good synergy on stage.  It was almost like a party mix, the way they blended in each others songs.
Jay was all smiles and had a great time.  It was one big celebration.  The set he played was similar to the ones he performs at festivals.  His star shined bright on that stage.  The crowd went absolutely wild for him.  The night was one big party.

Alicia was the only surprise guest, she and Jay-- along with the crowd--performed "Empire State Of Mind".  Justin started the duo off, with his rendition of "New York, New York".  One of the most special moments of the night, was when Jay, with Justin on vocals, dedicated "Forever Young" to Trayvon Martin.  It was a special moment.

Jay ended the night with B and many more at the official after party at the, 40/40 Club.  Check out pictures below.  Jay and JT performed at Yankee Stadium Saturday night, as well.

Detroit is a great American city, and it is in grave trouble.  Last week the city filed for Chapter 9 bankruptcy protection.  It is the largest bankruptcy filing for a city in U.S. history.  For the sake of us all let's hope Detroit can recover.  Watch B's heartfelt performance below. How sweet is she.

A jury has acquitted George Zimmerman, but we are not done demanding justice for Trayvon Martin. Sign the petition to the Department of Justice today:
The most fundamental of civil rights — the right to life — was violated the night George Zimmerman stalked and then took the life of Trayvon Martin. We ask that the Department of Justice file civil rights charges against Mr. Zimmerman for this egregious violation.

In The Know: President Obama Speaks Race & The Need To Move Forward....

Words can't explain the emotions I felt when President Obama, spoke about the Trayvon Martin ruling. Many people may not be able to handle what he said, and may continue to want to live in their own denial, but the reality is, that every thing he said, is a sad truth  And it truly hurts.  I mean really hurts.

We have got to do better as a people, as a country.   I am proud that the President addressed the issue of race and Black America.

It was amazing.  We must do better.

The Carters Are All In: Jay Z & Beyoncé Attend "Justice For Trayvon" Martin Rally...Spend Time With Trayvon's Parents and Big Brother....

Saturday 101 cities peacefully gathered for a Justice For Trayvon Rally, which was organized by Rev Al Sharpton's National Action Network and The Trayvon Martin Foundation--created by Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon's beloved mother...she is just such a beacon of hope and grace.

Jay & B joined Trayvon's family, The Rev and a host of other New Yorkers who attended the rally to protest the Stand Your Ground Laws.

Rev Al announced the Carters  telling the crowd, "two of the baddest artists of all time" were in attendance.

Jay & B were there to offer support.  They didn't make big speeches and they blended in with the crowd.  They have both been long supporters of Trayvon and his family.  After the rally they spent time time with Trayvon's parents Sybrina & Tracy and his big brother, Jahvaris.

"Jay Z and Beyoncé said they didn't want to speak and they didn't come for a photo op.  Beyoncé put a beautiful message up on Instagram.  Let me tell you that before a lot of you were down, Jay Z always supported us," reported Al Sharpton.

The Carter Life: Jay-Z, Beyoncé & Blue Enjoy Toronto...A Family Brunch Before They Hit The Stage

Straight from Houston to Toronto--The Carters are the definition of jet setters.  Jay, B & Blue were in Houston on Sunday and Monday--where B's Mrs. Carter Show took the Toyota Center on Monday. Then they headed straight to Toronto, where Jay & Justin's Legends Of The Summer, stadium tour kicks off tonight at Toronto's Rogers Centre.

This afternoon the family was snapped leaving Cafe Nervosa in Toronto.  Little Blue is the perfect combo of Jay & B, but she definitely makes her daddy's faces.  What a pretty little princess.  After a nice family lunch, they were greeted by throngs of fans and snapping cameras as they exited the restaurant.

And it looks like Blue, felt the same way her dad did about the mob...it's written all over their faces. Too cute.

The Houston-Toronto trip is just a quick family reunion, because B's MCSWT hits Chicago's United Center tonight.  So I wonder if Blue will stay with Jay or go with B...Jay did tell Angie Martinez that Blue, would be going on tour with him too.

Check out more photos of the lunch outing below.

B & Jay were snapped backstage at her show Monday, night.  It's all about La Familia.  I luv the Carters.

A Queen Comes Home: Beyoncé Returns To Texas, Performs "Bow Down"...Shuts Down The Toyota Center...

B returned home to Houston, Monday night, for another sold out tour stop.  During the show, she treated her home crowd to a very special treat.

Mrs. Carter performed "Bow Down" for the first time, telling the crowd, that she made the song for her Hatas.  And we all know B has a ton of them.

The "Bow Down" sequence opened up with a monologue that addressed some of the silly rumors about her, even the baby ones.  She then stormed the stage, for a commanding performance of "Bow Down."  Sweet!!!

Jay, fresh from the U.K., came out to watch and support his wife.  As did Houston's Rap Royalty Bun B, Scarface, Slim Thug, and the rest of her "Bow Down" cohorts.

Check out photos and B's performance of "Bow Down" performance below.

Hov's 13: Jay-Z's "Magna Carta" Takes #1 in U.S....Sells 527,000 Units in First Week...

It's official, Billboard has released it's numbers.  Jay's got his lucky #13!!!

"Magna Carta Holy Grail" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 528,000 copies in its first week according to preliminary data from Nielsen SoundScan.  It is the second-biggest sales week for a single album this year.

It's a Hip Hop Summer Baby!!!  Billboard reports that, "Magna Carta Holy Grail" follows three consecutive weeks of rap albums taking turns at No. 1. First, Kanye West's "Yeezus" topped the list, giving way to Wale's "The Gifted" the following week. Then last week, Wale stepped aside to grant J. Cole's "Born Sinner" a turn at the top. Now, with "Magna Carta's" No. 1 debut, it marks the first time that four different rap albums have consecutively spent their initial week at No. 1.

The last time three rap albums took the #1 spot in a row was between Sept. 3-24, 2011. That's when Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Watch the Throne," the Game's "The R.E.D. Album" and Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter IV" all spent their initial weeks at No. 1.  (Source:  Billboard)

"Magna Carta"--Hov's 13--extends his record for the most chart-toppers by a solo act in history. Among all artists, only the Beatles -- with 19 No. 1s -- have more. Tied for the third-most No. 1s are Bruce Springsteen and Elvis Presley, who each have 10 leaders. Jay-Z has seen every one of his solo studio albums reach No. 1 since 1998's "Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life," which also happened to mark his first No. 1.  (Source:  Billboard)

"Magna Carta" marks Jay-Z's fourth album to debut with more than a half-million copies in a week. It is also his largest sales week for any album since 2006's "Kingdom Come" entered at No. 1 with 680,000.  His last solo studio album, 2009's "The Blueprint 3," opened at No. 1 with 476,000 sold. His next project, 2011's "Watch the Throne," bowed with 436,000.  (Source:  Billboard)

Jay also revealed during the interview that he and Kanye got into a four days argument of two "Magna Carta" tracks:
"We had this whole plan when me and Kanye did [the] Watch The Throne album that we would go right into our solos after that," Jay-Z said. "Soon as I thought we had wrapped up Watch The Throne, I made two records ... I had 'Holy Grail' and 'Oceans'.
'I played those records for Kanye. And he was like, 'No, those have to go on Watch The Throne, so we spent four days arguing about those records," he continued. "I was explaining to him why it wasn't right for this project and I had a whole idea for making this album called Magna Carta ... Holy Grail."
"[It was] four days, four days literally arguing ... not like fighting," he said. "Well, there was some pushing at one point, but not between us. Just everyone else got a little excited."  (Source:  MTV)

R.I.P Trayvon.  You will never be forgotten.  Marvin's words are perfect for this occasion.  Our prayers are with the Martins, Fultons and all of Trayvon's family and friends.

Pray For The Martins & Fultons: We Must Keep Trayvon's Family & Friends In Our Hearts....#HoodiesUp

We all know who the true judge is.  And when judgement day comes, there is no escape.

The not guilty verdict in the vicious and brutal murder of Trayvon Martin, will forever be heartbreaking.  But, we must fight the urge to harm and destroy.  We have to take all our rage and use it for good.  We have to show that we are far better than them, and who they think we are!!!

We must become more politically active.  Educationally and economically empowered!!! More of us have to go into law and police enforcement.  And government and politics.  We have to work hard to lift ourselves up and be more active members of change.

We must continue to pray for Trayvon and his entire family.  Our hearts and prayers are with you, Ms. Fulton.  Your pain is definitely our pain tonight, and forever.

Jay performed "Picasso Baby" for over six hours at the gallery.  He was joined by performance artist Marina Abramović, director Judd Apatow, Wale, Jerry Saltz, and a diverse group of fans.  And now we know Taraji was also there.

She shared photos from the set, on Instagram, with the following message:

"Two steppin with Hov #PicassoBaby #bambooearringsandafatgoldchain #BKstyle".

Check out another photo below.  I can't wait for the video.  Be sure to pick up your copy of "Magna Carta Holy Grail"--it's a classic!!!

The Carter Life: Beyoncé & Blue Enjoy a Day of Fun & Sun in Miami With Family

B & Blue--who's now 18 months--enjoyed a day of fun and sun on Wednesday afternoon in Miami. The Carter women were joined by B's nephew Julez and other family and friends.

B was snapped carrying her baby girl and also chasing after her--as Blue explored.  Then she later spent time in the pool with Julez.

Mrs. Carter was glowing as she spent time enjoying with mommy-daughter time.  And Little Ms. Blue is growing up, so fast--it's good to see her out & about enjoying the summer and tanning...of course.  :)

B performed for a sold out crowd at the American Airlines Arena later on that night.  She's in Atlanta tonight.  Check out more family photos below.  Blue's adorable.
