Grammy Family: Jay Z Nominated for Nine Grammys, Leads the Night With Most Nominations...

Congratulations Jay!!!  For your nine Grammy nominations.

Jay Z tops the nominations for the 56th Grammy Awards.  He leads the night with nine; Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell Williams each earned seven; while Drake and mastering engineer Bob Ludwig are up for five awards.

Let's hope he performs, and that he adds to his already 17 Grammys.

Video Soul: Tamar Braxton Debuts "All The Way Home" + "She Can Have You" Videos

Tamar finally released the video for her soulful, third single, "All The Way Home" and it was worth the wait.  She put on one hell of a performance in the video.  And she was joined by her hubby Vince, who plays her leading man.  The two act out a true, Tamar & Vince moment.

She also debuted the video for "She Can Have You" off her new Christmas album, "Winter Loversland".  Check it out below.

The Carter Life: Jay Z & Beyoncé Shop in LA...Birthday or Holiday Shopping?

Jay & B were snapped shopping in LA yesterday, December 3.  So were they holiday shopping? Or maybe B, was getting him a birthday gift.

Today they are celebrating Jay's birthday, and then, on Friday, they're both back to arenas full of people screaming out their names.  B's in Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and Jay's in Anaheim at the Honda Center.

Jay Day: Jay Z & Beyoncé Begin Vegan Diet...Beyoncé Shares Photo

Jay & B's 22 Day Challenge began yesterday on December 3.  Jay shared the news about the vegan challenge on his website yesterday:

Psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you’ve found the way.

On December 3rd, one day before my 44th birthday I will embark on a 22 Days challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant-based!! This all began a few months back when a good friend and vegan challenged me to embrace a “plant-based breakfast” every day. It was surprisingly easier on me than I thought…

Why now? There’s something spiritual to me about it being my 44th birthday and the serendipity behind the number of days in this challenge; 22 (2+2=4) coupled with the fact that the challenge ends on Christmas day…It just feels right!

So you can call it a spiritual and physical cleanse. I will post my progress… Any professional vegans out there that have any great food spots please help out! Please ha. I don’t know what happens after Christmas. A semi-vegan, a full plant-based diet? Or just a spiritual and physical challenge? We’ll see…

Mrs. Carter is helping her husband celebrate his big day, today.  He turns 44 today, and they're celebrating in LA (both are on a quick tour breaks).  

Today Bey posted more photos of her hubby and adorable baby girl.  The perfect way, for us all to celebrate Jay's B'Day...;)
