Beyoncé has given us another treat today.  She's released her new H&M ad, and we finally get to hear "Standing On The Sun".   Mrs. Carter said, the new album will be more sensuous, and this track falls into that category.  It's melodic and sexy.  And like "Grown Woman" the track has an exotic feel.  The Queen's vocals are topnotch.  Takes me back to early B.  Luv it!!!

Mrs. Carter has officially taken over Paris.  The takeover began earlier today, when she left another sold out audience in awe.  Paris is a very special place for both B and Jay, so it comes as no surprise, that she gave Paris a very special treat.

During her much buzzed about show, B surprised the crowd with "Grown Woman", making it the very first time she'd ever performed the song live--and the Queen was literally snatching wigs.  And the fans.  The choreography is crazy!!!  She killed the performance!

"Grown Woman" is definitely an anthem.  And B's is in full diva mode.  The track is produced by, Timbaland, and shows off his R&B and Hip Hop roots.  It's heavy on the drums, has groove, and makes you want to dance.  It's lush, and ready to take over dance floors worldwide.

The Carter Life...Titans & Icons: Jay-Z & Beyoncé Make Time's 100 Most Influential Individually & As a Couple...Now That's Power!!!

The Carters are both featured in Time Magazine's, 100 Most Influential People in The World List.  Jay appears on the cover and makes the list in the coveted Titans category.  While Mrs. Carter makes the list, in the Icons category.  They also make the Most Powerful Couples List, along with President Obama and our beautiful First Lady.

Jay was profiled by another titan (love him or hate him) Mayor Michael Bloomberg--who tweeted about the list today, "Jay embodies so much of what makes NYC great, and he's never forgotten his roots".
Jay Z embodies so much of what makes New York New York. A kid from a tough neighborhood who grows up in public housing, overcomes lots of bad influences on the street, never lets go of his dream, makes it to the top — and then keeps going, pursuing new outlets for his creativity and ambition.
When no one would sign him to a record contract, he created his own label and built a music empire — before going on to design clothing lines, open sports bars and, most recently, represent professional athletes.  He’s an artist-entrepreneur who stands at the center of culture and commerce in 21st century America, and his influence stretches across races, religions and regions.
He’s never forgotten his roots — “Empire State of Mind” was a love song to our city — and as a co-owner of the NBA Nets, he helped bring a major league sports team back to Brooklyn, not far from his old neighborhood. In nearly everything he’s tried, he’s found success. (He even put a ring on Beyoncé.) And in doing so, he’s proved that the American Dream is alive and well. (Source:  Time100)
We all know that Jay Hova, is a titan who is constantly making mogul moves.  And in 2013, he's made power move after, power move.  Jay is the definition of the American Dream, and is a true titan, congrats Jay.

And B, has already had quite the year, as well.  She's now in Europe shutting down stages, leaving audiences breathless, and sending the fashion world into a frenzy, over her couture stage pieces.  So it's no surprise that she's made the Time 100, in the Icons category.  B was profiled by director, Baz Luhrmann, for her piece.

Luhrmann praised B's dedication, heart and passion:
Beyoncé contributed a song to the Great Gatsby soundtrack, and I worked with her quite intensely some years ago on the Academy Awards. When I met her, I was struck by her warmth and her humility; she was surrounded by family and was always family-oriented. For the Oscars, she had to learn some extremely difficult choreography, and she just had that incredible work ethic where she was in the door, hit the number, let’s go, let’s work. Just work.

Hova The Great: Jay-Z is "TIME'S" Most Influential...'Mr. Power Maker' Continues To Influence the World...

Hov's done it again, he's landed on Time's, The 100 Most Influential People In The World List, in the Titans category.  We all know that Jay Hova, is a titan who is constantly making mogul moves.  And in 2013, he's made power move after, power move.

NYC mayor, Michael Bloomberg had this to say about, the Hip Hop Global Titan:
(Source: Time)

Next up for Jay is, The Great Gatsby Soundtrack, he's executive producing and, The Legends Of Summer Stadium Tour, which kicks off July 17.  And his next solo album.

Jay needs to release "100$ Bill"  to celebrate, don't forget to pick up your copy, with Hov on the cover.

Mrs. Carter has added Luke James as the opening act for the European leg of her tour.

Hova The Great: Preview The Great Gatsby Soundtrack....Jay's Work Is Ready For The World....

Today snippets of The Great Gatsby Soundtrack was released by Interscope, the soundtrack was executive produced by Jay, and it sounds good.

You can hear snippets of all tracks except Jay's "100$ Bill" and B &Andre 3000 's cover of "Back To Black"--which are both, featured on the deluxe version.

Jay's gathered an eclectic group of artist for the soundtrack.  I luv Florence's, "Over the Love", Lana Del Ray's, "Young and Beautiful" and of course,  Emeli Sandé and the Bryan Ferry Orchestra's cover of "Crazy In Love".

It sounds lush, and it's got jazz -- all that's missing is a glass of D’ussé.  Listen to the clips below.

The soundtrack will be available, Tuesday, May 7, and the movie hits theaters, Friday, May 10.  We all had to read the book for school, now it's time to enjoy the movie.

Queen B Chimes For Good: Beyoncé "Caught Doing Good", Tells Blue She Can Be President; Wants All Little Girls to Know They Can Be President & Anything Else They Dream Of....

B's always been one who has been focused on her philanthropic efforts, but since becoming a mom she's stepped it up even more.  From kicking off World Humanitarian Day, Partnering with the Boys & Girls Clubs, partnering with Chime For ChangeMissAMeal, and The Mrs. Carter Show Auction that is designed to help put people back to work--proceeds will be donated to a variety of organizations throughout Europe, who help provide job training and placement (it's Europe, because, that's where the tour is now), which is connected to her partnership with Goodwill's B Good program.

She will also be lending her voice to Goodwill's B Good Program:
Goodwill Industries International is pleased to announce that Beyoncé Knowles-Carter will lend her voice to help raise awareness about Goodwill’s mission of transforming lives through the power of work. The announcement comes just as Beyoncé gets ready to kick off The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour today in Serbia.

"Goodwill helps people get back to work by providing education, job training and placement. I wanted to team up with an organization that puts people first and works every day to help them improve and re-establish their lives," said Beyoncé.

Beyoncé will encourage fans to support Goodwill by promoting donation drives at her North American concerts beginning on Friday, June 28, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Goodwill will host a mobile donation center onsite at 28 tour venues in 24 North American cities, collecting clothing, electronics and small household goods. The revenue from the sale of these donations will directly benefit local Goodwill agencies in their work to help people with disabilities and disadvantages, and anyone facing challenges to finding employment.
Beyoncé will also help build awareness of Goodwill’s mission through in-concert education, social media and online ticket auctions. Global charity auction site Charitybuzz.com will auction special ticket packages for The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, with the revenue benefiting Goodwill.

Plus in B's latest, Chime For Change feature, she talks about letting Blue know everyday, that she can be President:

I'm telling my daughter every day, you know you can be president, you know it's possible. I know she has no idea why I'm saying that, but at one-year-old, I'm like, you know you can be president.

Another Sad Day in America: President Obama Speaks on Boston Explosion...Says 'Americans Will Say A Prayer For Boston Tonight'

Today marks another sad day for America.  Tragedy marked today's annual Boston Marathon, when two explosive devices went off, killing three and injuring over 180.

A solemn, President Obama spoke on the tragedy, telling Boston "that American people will say pray for Boston tonight".

During the brief speech, The POTUS stated:

We still do not know who did this or why. And people shouldn’t jump to conclusions before we have all the facts. But make no mistake -- we will get to the bottom of this. And we will find out who did this; we'll find out why they did this. Any responsible individuals, any responsible groups will feel the full weight of justice.

Today is a holiday in Massachusetts -- Patriots’ Day. It’s a day that celebrates the free and fiercely independent spirit that this great American city of Boston has reflected from the earliest days of our nation. And it’s a day that draws the world to Boston’s streets in a spirit of friendly competition. Boston is a tough and resilient town. So are its people. I'm supremely confident that Bostonians will pull together, take care of each other, and move forward as one proud city. And as they do, the American people will be with them every single step of the way. (Source:  White House.gov)

Watch President Obama's remarks below.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have been effected.  Not only is America praying for you, the world is praying for you.

Mrs. Carter is Ready to Steam: Beyoncé Preps Serbia...The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour Kicks Off Monday in Belgrade...

B arrived in Serbia yesterday, in preparation for her sold out, The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.
The tour kicks off tomorrow in Belgrade, Serbia.

The Queen was snapped, roc'n one of her favorite hues, blue, as she excited a plane.  And headed straight for rehearsals..

I wonder if Blue traveled with her, or will she come later with, Jay.

One things for sure, I expect this tour to be, B's best yet.  Each tour she gets better and better.

The I AM tour was one of the best shows I've ever seen, it was one big ball of energy from start to finish.  And Revel was out of this world.

Be incredible B.  Check out pictures below.

Hova The Great: Jay-Z Releases "Open Letter" Answers All Questions...Declares, 'The World is Under New Management'

Today, Jay released a new track called "Open Letter", which addresses all the "idiots" who have fallen victim to believing, all the nonsense, that has been said about him lately...Cuba trip included.

To the GOP:
"Politicians never did shit for me/except lie to me, distort history/Wanna give me jail time and a fine/Fine, lemme commit a real crime"
On Cuba:
"Boy from the hood, but got White House clearance/ Sorry y'all, I don't agree with y'all parents"
On The Nets:
"Would've brought the Nets to Brooklyn for free/ Except I made millions off it, you f---in' dweeb"
"I still own the building, I'm still keeping my seats/ You buy that bullsh--, you better keep your receipts"
On the Peanut Gallery:
"I'm in Cuba, I love Cubans/ This communist talk is so confusing/ When it's from China, the very mic that I'm using"
" 'Idiot Wind' the Bob Dylan of rap music/ You're an idiot baby, you should become a student"
I love the fact that Jay brings up China, since everyone seems to ignore their ways, but I 'm sure Tibetans don't.  Nor do his many fans, who bought tickets to his concert, only to be told, by their government, that he, wouldn't be allowed into the country to perform...

"Open Letter" was recorded last night and was produced by Swizz and Timbaland.  Listen to it below.

In The Know: First Lady Michelle Obama Talks About Gun Violence...Tears Up When She Talks About Young Hadiya Pendleton

Today our FLOTUS was back home in Chicago speaking about gun control, an issue that is near and dear to both her and President Obama.

She teared up when she talked about young, Hadiya Pendleton, the 15 year old honor student, who was killed by a stray bullet on her way home from school.  Just week's before her tragic death, Hadiya and her classmates performed at the President's second inauguration.

The FLOTUS told the audience that she was Hadiya, the only difference was, she got to grow up. It was such a touching moment:
“Hadiya Pendleton was me, and I was her,” Obama said at a fundraising lunch for a public-private partnership aimed at giving support to young Chicagoans and making neighborhoods safer. “But I got to grow up and go to Princeton and Harvard Law School and have a career and family and the most blessed life I could ever imagine."
"And Hadiya? Oh, we know that story."
We've got to stop this.  Watch the clip below.

The Carters Havana Excursion Continues: Jay-Z & Beyoncé Take In Cuban Art & Culture With Their Moms in Tow

Jay & B are still in Havana enjoying their five year wedding anniversary vacay.

They've been touring the forbidden city, enjoying her food, people, architecture and rich culture.  Their presence has been causing quite a frenzy.

On Friday they along with their mothers, toured the University Of Arts in Havana, where they chatted with students and enjoyed a performance.

It wasn't until President Obama lifted travel restrictions to Cuba, that Americans could visit the island.  Some Cubans praise the move and encourage travel, while others are against it.  Either way, it appears that the Cubans in Cuba are very happy with the Carters visit.  And their presence will bring a lot of attention to Cuba.

Queen Of The Ball: Beyoncé Takes the MET, Named Honorary Chair of Famed Costume Ball...

Beyoncé has been announced as honorary chair of this year's Costume Institute Gala.  The annual event held at the MET is May 6.  According to WWD, while unconfirmed, it's possible that B will join co-chairs Rooney Mara, Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci, Lauren Santo Domingo and of course, Anna Wintour on the receiving line.

I hope so, can't wait to see her couture curves on the carpet--she does have a show in London on May 5 and another on May 7, in Manchester--but the Carter's are known for continent hopping, so the Queen, can always fly home for the night and fly right back out, and still burn down the stage the next night.

From the MET-to-the-MEN.

The benefit will celebrate the, "Punk: Chaos to Couture" exhibition, which you can view at the Metropolitan Museum of Art from May 9 to August 14.

Congrats B!!!  What an anniversary week she's having.

She also talked about the Keyshia Cole issue...she's a grown woman, and has no time for it.  She's working on a movie with Jamie Foxx.  She talked her new music, her birthday "cry" and a little about her niece, Blue.  Luv it!!!

It's intense and hysterical.   Watch it below.

Today a new trailer for The Great Gatsby was debuted and in it you can hear a snippet of Beyoncé & Andre 3000's remake, of Amy's Back to Black, it sounds jazzy, fitting since the movie covers the Jazz Age.  B's vocals sound like silk.  I can't wait to hear the full track.  Also featured in the visual was new music by Lana Del Rey and Florence and The Machine.

Jay's executive producing the soundtrack and has also recorded  a new track, "100$ Bill".  The official track list for the new film also includes new music from Emeli Sandé and the Bryan Ferry Orchestra who cover B's "Crazy in Love", will.i.am, Gotye as well as Jack White covering U2's iconic "Love Is Blindness."  The soundtrack is due May 7 in the U.S., with a 17-track deluxe edition available only at Target. The Carter Life: Jay-Z & Beyoncé Celebrate Their Fifth Wedding Anniversary in Cuba...

Looks like the Carters are taking full advantage of President Obama's lifting of travel restrictions to Cuba, because the two royals are on the island celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary.  And the people can't get enough of them...can you blame 'um.

Now Jay's, tweet from yesterday:  Equipo peligroso (Dangerous Team) makes so much more sense.

The two love birds sent crowds into a frenzy while touring Havana.  Billboard reports, The music power couple was mobbed by dozens of fans at the renowned restaurant La Guarida on Wednesday night, and police had to step in to keep the crowds at bay.

Waitress Silvia Fernandez said they dined with their mothers and another man she couldn't identify. She called Beyoncé "beautiful, without a drop of makeup."

And today they toured colonial Old Havana, looking photo shoot fresh--B playing the happy photographer, Jay puffing on a Cuban, and both moms in tow.  And after all the sightseeing they headed to another restaurant, that boasts a magnificent rooftop terrace with a sweeping view of the harbor.  (Source:  Billboard)

Jay Z & Roc Nation have made another power move.  This time the conglomerate has ventured into sports.  Yesterday Roc Nation Sports was introduced to the world, it's a partnership with CAA Sports.  The full-service entertainment company will connect athletes to brands and various other endeavors.  The first major signing was Yankee All-Star Robinson Cano.  Now that's a perfect pairing.

Both Jay and Cano talked about the partnership:
“Because of my love of sports, it was a natural progression to form a company where we can help top athletes in various sports the same way we have been helping artists in the music industry for years,” Jay said, of his latest sports venture.

“At this point in my career, I am ready to take a more active role in my endeavors both on and off the field,” said Cano. “I am confident that the pairing of Roc Nation Sports and CAA Sports will be essential in helping me accomplish my short- and long-term goals. I am making this important decision now so I can keep my focus on helping the Yankees succeed in 2013, while minimizing any distractions for me and my teammates.”  (Source: Roc Nation)

The Carter Life: Beyoncé Takes British VOGUE

Beyoncé is the May cover girl for British VOGUE.  And on the cover B rocs one of her favorite hues:  blue.  She stands tall and proud on the cover.  Focused and ready for battle.

In the cover story B talks about her role as a Modern Day Feminist, being Mrs. Carter and how becoming a mom has made her more powerful and more focused.  Vogue writes:
FEW have captivated the world like Vogue's May cover star Beyoncé Knowles. Few have been so adulated or adored, and yet remained so steadfast in protecting their mystery. Few have withstood the rigours of a stellar career and survived so unscathed.
In the latest issue of Vogue, Beyoncé grants us an exclusive audience prior to the UK leg of her Mrs Carter tour. We found her unusually candid about marriage, motherhood and her musical journey, opening up about her love for husband Jay-Z, her determination to remain true to her instincts and her passion for a job which has seen her singing professionally for nearly 20 years. She talks about how motherhood gave her a sense of "audacity" and a confidence to share more of her famously private life, and how her brand of feminism is synonymous with today's very independent woman.
Looks like it's going to be a very good read.  Check out pictures from the shoot below and don't forget to pick up your copy when it hits newsstands and tablets.

Queen B Five: Beyoncé Wants You to #BeyHereNow...Celebrating Fifth Anniversary With New Single???

What is Beyoncé up to?  Is Mrs. Carter finally ready to release her brand new single.  Well at least we think so..hope so...

Yesterday she uploaded a photo of herself filming in a studio.  And today she released a video clip, with a new beat playing in the background, and a message at the end requesting us to:  #BeyHereNow, 04/04/13 at 9:00 AM EDT.

The date is already special,  because it's her & Jay's fifth wedding anniversary.  So, will she be celebrating her fifth wedding anniversary with the first single off, her fifth solo album?  Lyric video included?  She's all about numbers and their meanings, so it makes sense.  (Five fingers crossed.)

Check out the clip below and be sure to head over to:
Beyoncé.com, tomorrow at 9 AM EDT. Royalty awaits :).
