A Big Week for The President BUT OVER SHADOWED BY MEDIAS' STUPIDITY

This was going to be a great week for the President. As once again one of his major policy items was passed. He had finally gotten a chance to attack and curb the Greed and Immoral practices that exist on Wall Street today. The very practices which got us into this mess in the first place.

But the media decided to focus on the hype and B.S. that surrounded Shirely Sherrod. So instead of them focusing on the signing of this "landmark legislation" which is the largest overhaul of the financial system since FDR's New Deal! The importance of the week was lost.

I blame this on the media more than anyone else. I also blame it on the gullibility of the American Public, who at this point believe and take anything they read or hear on the Internet as law.

The media went nuts over this story. And it wasn't just FOX as many outlets would have you believe. I am extremely disappointed at CNN and MSNBC (who I hold to very high standards) who never even fully checked sources before reporting on the incident at all!

Journalism 101 teaches the importance of investigating and getting to the truth. Shame on you and you for not questioning. I guess everyone's buying the BROOKLYN BRIDGE THESE DAYS!
