Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls Generating Oscar Buzz


Looks like Tyler Perry's star brigade, For Colored Girls, which hits theaters, November 5, is generating oscar buzz already!  The movie which boasts an all-star cast is garnering a lot of acclaim.  Especially for actors Anki Noni Rose, Loretta Divine and for Tyler Perry himself.  The buzz was enuff to get the film moved up to November 5 (originally slated for Jan 2011), so that it could be considered for awards season voting.


In addition to the heat behind the movie, Atlantic Records just released information regarding the soundtrack to the movie, which will feature legends such as Nina Simone, Gladys Knight, along with contemporary acts, Janelle Monae, Estelle and Leona Lewis.  Read on for tracklisting.
