The President and First Lady Kick Off Annual White House Holiday Festivities; Military Families Get First Peek

The First Family kicked off the annual White House Christmas festivities.  President Obama spoke before the lighting of the National Christmas Tree on the Ellipse.  While First Lady Michelle Obama and Kermit the Frog read "The Night Before Christmas" at the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.  The day before The First Lady welcomed military families for a first peek at the White House holiday decorations.

This year's holidays decorations at the White House will include quite a few renderings of the first pup, Bo. Take a look at the process of making the "Button Bo", which happens to be the smallest of the litter.
