When President Obama won reelection, Tuesday night, he added to his legacy of firsts. Check out a short list below.
Firsts:
- First Democrat since FDR to win the White House with 50% of the popular vote --both his terms.
- First to ever win both the home states of his challengers. The POTUS won both Romney and Ryan's home states of Massachusetts (Rom) and Wisconsin (Ryn). Romney was dealt a double whammy also losing Michigan (birth state) and New Hampshire (vacation destination).
- First Democrat to get over 71% of the Hispanic vote
The Republican Party has lost the popular vote in the last 5 of 6 Presidential Elections. And they haven't won as many electoral votes as the President has in 24 years!!!!
History!!!
Now Florida, hurry up!!!
