Remembering 9/11: President Obama & First Lady Michelle Obama Observe a Moment of Silence

Today marked the 11 year anniversary of 9/11.  I will never forget that day! It was a day of great sadness and great strength for my city -NYC- and my country!  Today President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama marked the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks by observing a moment of silence on the South Lawn of the White House.

The President and First Lady then went to the Pentagon, where the President spoke at the Pentagon Memorial Service.  Watch both videos below.
