All Stars Care: LeBron, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Roy Hibbert & More Give Back to New Orleans During All Star Weekend....#MenWithHearts


No sports league gives back to the community more than the NBA.  And the league and the players really amp up their charity during All Star Weekend.  Some of the game's biggest stars were out and about this weekend helping out in the communities of NOLA.


LeBron, Sprite & The LeBron James Family Foundation unveiled a legacy project, which included a refurbished gymnasium at the Boys and Girls Club Southeast Louisiana on Saturday, February 15, 2014 in Gretna, Louisiana.


Hometown hero Anthony Davis--who is having one hell of a second year, he's living up to that #1 Draft Pick, for sure--partnered with New Orleans mayor Mitch Landrieu for the NOLA FOR LIFE Midnight Basketball Program at Joe Brown Park on February 13, 2014 in New Orleans.   Glad to see there are still states participating in Midnight Basketball Programs.

As part of the NBA's National Day of Service, Kevin Durant teamed up with Blake Griffin, Roy Hibbert, Paul George and more to rebuild Six Algiers families got all-star treatment Friday when NBA All-Stars and BBVA Rising Stars partnered with Rebuilding Together New Orleans and Kia to perform vital repairs to their homes on Leboeuf Street.  (Source:  NOLA.com)


It was a weekend of giving back and caring.  The players and their own charities, along with NBA Cares treated New Orleans to much more than a sports this weekend, they shared their hearts and time.
