Jay & Ye: Recruit Elite & Underground Hip-Hoppers For Throne LP

Kanye West and Jay-Z [Madison Square Garden / 08.22.07]
Pete Rock,Q-Tip and Madlib have contributed to the project.  In fact Ye tweeted that they spit on the Madlib beat Saturday night (early Sunday morning).  So far they've had collaborations with Rozay, Nicki, Swizz and GOOD Music's own Pusha T, which have lead to both Monster and my favorite, So Appalled.

The Jay/Ye album is part of Ye's newly launched campaign to get fresh music out to the Hip Hop masses. In August he let the world in on his plans to release a spankin' new track every Friday until Christmas, Ye informed via tweet, on the first day of his G.O.O.D. Friday initiative that he's hooking up with Hov for a five-track album. The Jay-Z/Nicki Minaj/Rick Ross/Bon Iver collabo Monster was the first single from the album.
