This week saw the official launch of Madonna and daughter Lourdes's fashion line, Material Girl. The line, Madonna says is a dream of her daughter's and that it brings her great pleasure seeing Lola's dream come to life. It's an inspiration of Madonna's own 80s style with a combination of today's futuristic-edge. Think lots of 80s fare (short-shirts, long shirts, leggings, cut-up stockings) added with lots of black and leather with a hint of goth. Which probably comes from Lola's own infatuation with her mom's 80s look and love for Roc and Roll. That's probably the very reason they choice Taylor Momsen, who is a bit of all those things.
--Princess CarterThe three attended the red carpet event at Macy*s on 34th street. Both Lourdes and Taylor were head-to-toe in material attire. And Madonna accessorized with the line.
