TI was arrested late Wednesday night in LA along with his wife Tiny for making an illegal U-Turn on the infamous Sunset Boulevard. Once he was pulled over cops "smelled the strong scent of marijuana." The Police Report states that this led to a narcotics investigation and that both TI and Tiny were in possession of a controlled substance. Cops state the controlled substance were pills that resembled Ecstasy. Both were charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and bail was set $10,000 for each.
TI who had an incredible week, last week, due to his film Takers debuting at number one. Hell, he even declared that he was retiring from rapping to make films full-time. With the hope of winning an Oscar by 40. Is now living out a whole nother movie of his own.
Unfortunately this movie I'm sure he's not enjoying at all. With this new charge of felony possession of a controlled substance added on to his prior felony gun charge, that led to him spending seven months in jail, a year of home confinement and months of community service. Not to mention he's still on federal probation.
Tip needs to stay strong and focused! The E-pills were mentioned in the original arrest for his felony gun charges too.
