Rumors have been circling the net and blogs for days now about B's involvement in the Glastonbury Festival. Well it's no longer a rumor. She'll be headlining the final day of the legendary festival, performing a 90-minute set. The fest will take place in South West London from June 22-26.
B says of her headlining slot: "This really is the biggest festival in the world and I cannot wait to perform there. Everyone who attends is really appreciative of music and is in such a good mood that entire weekend. I'm pumped just thinking about that huge audience and soaking up their energy." She will be the first female headliner, congratulations Mrs. Carter.
B last attended the festival in 2008, when she was there to support Jay who Headlined that year, making history as the first Hip Hop Headliner. He won over the masses and was the highlight of the festival (despite the controversy that surrounded him).
