Grammy weekend kicked off on Friday adding even more star power to LA's beautiful land. Jay's
Roc Nation got their Grammy affairs off to a start with a brunch that was co-hosted by Gucci. The event was held at the Soho House West (Jay always the New York Boy).
The party honored Roc Nation's Grammy nominated artist, Jay-Z (6) and was also a pairing of music and fashion. Gucci showcased their special edition of Grammy Watches and and jewelry items. Gucci head, Frida Giannini had this to say about the pairing with Jay: "I think Jay-Z is the boss of this industry. He is a very iconic person, and I think he is the best. So as a designer, I always say I find an incredible inspiration coming from musicians who are in the music industry. Fashion and music, they have always been together because I think we are looking to musicians and musicians are looking to fashion."
Solange was one of the celebrity DJs who spun tunes for Jay, Beyonce', Will Smith, Rihanna, Ellen Pompeo and Charlize Theron at the VIP event. Also there enjoying the sounds, food and beautiful company were Solange's son Juelz who hung out with his Aunt B, Adrian Brody, Florence Welch and Ryan Phillippe.
