Cops shot dead gunman James J. Lee, in the lobby of the Discovery Channel's head quarters, this afternoon. Cops say that he came in with explosive devices strapped to his front and back along with guns. He also had two boxes and a backpack that they believe had explosive devices. He had three hostages and all are safe. They don't believe that there are any injuries. They are still securing the building and working with the Fire Department as they still believe there are explosives in the building. It was also reported that when cops shot the suspect one of his explosive devices went off. Cops state they shot him because they feared for the lives of the hostages.
The suspect had a history with the Discovery Channel and was even arrested in the past. His gripe with the channel was that they weren't focusing enough on Global Warming/Climate Change. What!
