Movie News: It's Official Beyonce' Added To Cast Of New Ice Age Movie
MSN Entertainment has just confirmed that Beyonce' has been added to the cast of Ice Age: Continental Drift. She will voice one of the characters. No character information has been released, yet.This will be her first animated film. She'll be joining cast regulars: Queen Latifah, Ray Romano, Denis Leary and John Leguizamo. Also new to the cast are Jennifer Lopez, Jeremy Renner and Drake.
The Ice Age franchise is a perfect blend of edutainment as it teaches about the deadly effects of Global Warming/Climate Change.

Beyonce' Moves Up Billboard's Social 50
Skyrocketing 25-14 on Billboard's Social 50 chart, Beyoncé rallies to a new chart high with a 334% burst in new week-over-week plays on monitored social networks and 142% boost in views. The jump is owed to attention gained from her new single "Run the World (Girls)," the diva's first single from her forthcoming fourth studio album.
"Run the World" has earned 1.46 million YouTube views since its YouTube premiere April 21, and also lands at No. 33 on this week's Billboard Hot 100. As well, Beyoncé released a video in support of First Lady Michelle Obama's campaign against childhood obesity called "Move Your Body." While neither song is on Vevo, other Beyonce videos on the site did see a 340% surge in plays.
This information is impressive especially since Beyonce' doesn't Tweet or really usually use any social media outlets.

At No. 33 on the Hot 100, Beyonce charts the highly-anticipated first single from her forthcoming fourth studio album, "Run the World (Girls)." After it hit the iTunes Store last Thursday, the girl-power anthem starts on Digital Songs at No. 23 (77,000). On Radio Songs, the track begins at No. 65 (18 million in audience).

"Watch The Throne" in Paris: Jay-Z & Kanye West Work on Album in Paris; Set to Record & Film Video With Beyonce'? B is Queen at the Ritz for Harper's Bazaar!
As we patiently await the joint album from Hip-Hop Royals, Jay-Z & Kanye West, the two were spotted in Paris today and it looks like they were headed to a studio. Kanye had his laptop in hand and Jay's still in studio mode (no hair-cut=recording).
I kinda figured that Kanye was headed to Paris when he was seen at Heathrow last week. I hope that we get a summer release date from the two music titans. Jay may be working on more than the callbo album, according to People.com: Multiple sources tell PEOPLE they (Jay & B) arrived with a lot of musical equipment. "They've set up a studio in another suite and have been working nights on her album," says one source. It's a working vacation for the pair, who reportedly are recording a new song featuring Kanye West, and possibly prepping a video, according to sources.
Not sure exactly when or if it's happened already, but I hope it's true. It is unknown if it will appear only on B's still untitled 4th studio album, or WTT and/or both albums.

In other Beyonce' news her newly released single, 'Run The World (Girls)' has debuted on iTunes top 10 charts worldwide. And on Friday, she had a photo shoot for an upcoming cover story for Harper's Bazaar magazine. She was seen shooting scenes on a balcony of the famed Ritz Hotel.
Living up to her name, Queen B, she gave a special I Love U to her fans, while on the hotel's balcony, she blew kisses and made a heart sign, as her faithful followers snapped their own photos, below. She also roc'd a Julez for Japan t-shirt (all proceeds for the sale of the shirt go towards relief in Japan), during her down time on the set.

Gaga Unleashed: She Can Blow You Away With or Without The "Theatrics"
Lady Gaga was her usual candid self in the latest issue of NME magazine. In the mag, she talks about her art, "Born This Way" and she also has a few things to say to her critics. When asked about her "authenticity" Gaga tells the the mag, "Let me tell you something, if you f------ rip my hairbow and my wig off my f------ head, my shoes, my bra, every single thing on my body, and you throw me on a piano with a microphone, I will f------ make you cry."

King Hov: Jay-Z Set To Roc Rio
Roc Nation has just announced that Jay-Z will be performing at "Rock in Rio" in Rio de Janeiro, October 1, 2011.
It's Rio's annual music festival. It's huge and another good look for Jay. This will be the first time the 13 time Grammy winner will be performing at the fest, which brings together all different types of musical genres.
This year the fest will take place from September 23, 24, 25 & 30. As well as, October 1 & 2.
Jay has been in the studio for months now, which is evident from how long his hair is (he doesn't cut his hair when he's making an album). I wonder if he'll be debuting new music at the fest. Is he still working on "Watch the Throne" or his own solo album? Or maybe both?

Jay & B continue their Parisian Holiday, looking both beautiful and in love. Nothing like Spring and Love. The two Royals met up with their nephew Julez and his dad for lunch at L'Avenue. The enjoyed food, quality time and a little bubbly (not Julez of course).

Jay-Z and Beyonce' were spotted out and about in Paris today. The two were spotted after leaving dinner in matching black shades: true Roc Stars!
Jay-Z looked his usual Roc Star cool. His hair is still uncut, so that means he's still in the studio recording. I guess it's still for 'Watch The Throne' or is it for his new solo project. B looked flawless from head-to-toe, she roc'd a pair of python Louboutin pumps and, a to-die-for, Jimmy Choo"Rosabel" bag. The two Royals dined along the Champs-Elysées. Sweet!

Video News: Director Francis Lawrence Promises, Beyonce's 'Girls' Video Will Be Epic
Director Francis Lawrence was making the rounds this weekend promoting his new film, "Water For Elephants", which stars Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson. On Sunday, he spoke to MTV News and confirmed that he had, in fact, just wrapped B's new video. The shoot took place from Monday-Wednesday (4/11-13).Lawrence tells MTV of the shoot:
"The video's for the song 'Girls'; it's off her new album. She would probably have me shot if I said anything. ... Some stuff spilled out, but she wasn't happy about it, so I've been sworn to secrecy."
"It'll be big, it'll probably be one of the bigger Beyoncé music videos ever done," he added.
"And, I can say that I think the song is unbelievable."

Gaga Goes Magic for The Evil Queen
After releasing her latest hit, Judas, which is tearing up Domestic and World Charts alike, Queen Gaga visited the Magic Kingdom on Saturday. She paid a special visit to Snow White's Evil Queen.
The two shared red apples, fitting for the girl from the Big Apple. After the visit she headed off to her sold out Monster Ball show in Tampa.

Video Diaries Beyonce, Part ll: Video Wraps; Larger Than Life Dance Numbers?; Queen B Rocs Alexander McQueen & More; Official Title: 'Who Rule The World (Girls)"
Beyonce' spent the week of April 11 in California filming the video for her first single. It's rumored to be called "Who Rule The World (Girls)". A snippet of the track leaked on YouTube (late in the week) with that name, however it has since been removed by SonyBMG. And their is still no official word from B or her camp.

Things started off on Sunday in LA with dance rehearsals and auditions. News of the shoot began spreading like wildfire over Twitter, via the dancers themselves, who were tweeting their praises of Queen B and the new track.

By Monday the net was in an uproar and B was off to the Mojave Desert in Givenchy Haute Couture, Tuesday she went Gladiator-Diva in LA and she commanded her Girls while at the beach on Wednesday, Roc'n Alexander McQueen, no less! It is also said that their may have been a 4th day of just dance numbers filmed in LA. And we can't forget about Roberto Cavalli's tweet. He tweeted a picture of B wearing his clothes, while filming scenes for the video in New Jersey, in early April, (that was the tweet that got it all started). So, in all there may have been 4-5 days of shooting. Judging from the pictures and the many scenes, it definitely feels epic! Not to mention the 200 dancers and the Afrikan dance numbers, which are also rumored to be a part of the video. Anxiously waiting!!!
