Roc Nation has just announced that Jay-Z will be performing at "Rock in Rio" in Rio de Janeiro, October 1, 2011.
It's Rio's annual music festival. It's huge and another good look for Jay. This will be the first time the 13 time Grammy winner will be performing at the fest, which brings together all different types of musical genres.
This year the fest will take place from September 23, 24, 25 & 30. As well as, October 1 & 2.
Jay has been in the studio for months now, which is evident from how long his hair is (he doesn't cut his hair when he's making an album). I wonder if he'll be debuting new music at the fest. Is he still working on "Watch the Throne" or his own solo album? Or maybe both?
