Jay & Kanye continue to receive accolades for their critically acclaimed album, "Watch The Throne". This time they've received three nominations at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.

Life + Times reported today that Jay is the executive producer of NBA2K13. This is yet another big accomplishment for him. He'll be responsible for overseeing the soundtrack for the games latest edition. He's name will also appear on the video game's packaging and promotion. Sweet!!!

Jay & Budweiser's Makers of Tomorrow commercial debuted during the Olympic Opening Ceremony. It's to promote the Budweiser Made in America Fest which Jay is curator of. The festival is this Labor Day Weekend, September 1 & 2.
It's clear to see that First Lady Michelle Obama is enjoying her role as Leader of The Presidential Delegation To The 2012 Olympic Games In Londonand TEAM USA and London are loving her right back!!! But can you blame them... she's warm, sweet, smart and has the biggest heart.
The FLOTUS arrived in the host city and got straight to her Olympic duties. First she greeted members of Team USA at the University of East London on Friday (July 27) --where she addressed the team and of course gave them big hugs --we all know our FLOTUS is a big huger.
Friday was a pretty big day for the First Lady. After eating breakfast and spending time with TEAM USA. She attended a reception hosted by the Queen for Heads of State and Government attending the Olympics. And she of course ended the night cheering on TEAM USA at the Opening Ceremony.
The Opening Ceremony broke a record in the U.S., it was the most watched Opening Ceremony in U.S. history, watched by more that 41 million households.
Then on Saturday she cheered on Serena as she won her first match. Attended the evening sessions of the Swimming Heats at the Aquatics Centre, where she sat with Summer Sanders and cheered on Team USA.
Saturday was also the kick off of the Let's Move Olympic Fun Day:
The Let's Move Olympic Fun Day, designated for Saturday, July 28, the first day of the Olympic games and, the First Lady hopes, an opportunity to get kids moving with Olympic-inspired fitness.
"I wanted to turn that Olympic inspiration into action," Mrs. Obama told reporters during a phone conference yesterday. "By using these Games as a way to get more kids up and moving. ... As our Olympic athletes begin to compete in London, they will truly be inspiring a generation of young people to get active and strive for excellence." (Source: huffingtonpost)
The FLOTUS showed off her own athletic chops at the event. Playing soccer with David Beckam and Spongebob Squarepants. She also played tennis and other sports. The event was attended by American military children and British and American students. Also helping out the FLOTUS at the event was former Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin and Nickelodeon.

On Sunday she visited with military base members and their families in a hanger at Mildenhall Air Force Base.
She also cheered on TEAM USA Men's Basketball as they beat France98-71 in their first game. Team USA and the coaches got a big hug and kiss from the FLOTUS after their victory.
The NBA released the 2012-2013 schedule Thursday evening... something this basketball fanatic has been waiting for all summer!!! This season will mark the Brooklyn Nets'Inaugural Season at the Barclays Center. The Nets open their season at the Barclays Center against their hometown rivals The Knicks.
I know The Carters will be court-side along with a host of other celebs. I can't wait to see Spike. I wonder if he'll feel torn because, he's from Brooklyn. What an exciting time for NYC basketball!!!
The Nets will also have the honor of playing on Christmas Day when they host The Celtics in Brooklyn...Sweet!! And their fourth game will be against Lebron, Wade, Bosh & Company on November 7. Can't wait for that match-up. Two teams I just can't get enough of!!!

Roc Nation's Prince, J. Cole gave the crowd at sample of his new music Wednesday night at Mike Barber's and DJ Spynfo's Open Mic event in NYC. Cole spit a verse from his new song, "Chaining Day". The track is an introspective look at the trials and tribulations of his new-found-fame.
Prince William, Duchess Kate and Prince Harry greeted the Olympic torch at Buckingham Palace today.
The Young Royals are in full Olympic-mode for this summer's Olympics. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, (William, & Kate) and Prince Harry have attended several pre-Olympic events. And they plan on attending many events to cheer on their team, Great Britain during the games.

Looks like B's new music won't be leaking, like her previous albums. She's taking a page out of her hubby's book, protecting her album at all cost. Jay and Ye went through extreme measures to keep their hotly anticipated Watch The Throne from leaking. They created their own studios in hotels around the world, used computers that had no wireless access, wiped studios clean after each use and stored all music on zip-drives. Now word is B's taking similiar precautions.
UK singer Conor Maynard said: ''I've heard some mad stories. With Beyonce, I heard that with her people they'll make sure that there's no-one in the studio. They go into the studio, wipe it, set up one new session for her to record. Once she's finished recording they move it onto a hard drive. They wipe the studio computer again and then leave.''
Kendall Jenner is all fashion and legs in the new ad for Fashion's Night Out. The annual nationwide event is September 6, 2012. Kendall is the face of the Beverly Center's Night Out bash, in LA. The event will have celebrity appearances (the Jenner/Kardashian/Odom/Disick clan will be in full force), in-store events and two big fashion shows, with more than 30,000 guests expected to attend.

Queen B and, her precious little princess, Blue were snapped shopping and leaving Bergdorf's in Manhattan today. Today's the first day we've seen Blue's face since, her St. Barts vacay back in April. The photo is pretty sexy and definitely a conversation piece --especially since the only thing Gaga's wearing are little men, who just so happen to be climbing all over her body parts. The add is so Gaga.

Last night Jay and B attended Nas' album release party. Jay roc'd all white, the color of summer, and definitely looked like he enjoyed himself.
B was also at the party, but stayed out of the spotlight. She was roc'n long blonde braids, a nod to her DC days. She was snapped chatting it up with Roc Nation's, Bridget Kelly. Hmm... I wonder if the braids have anything to do with album #5 , which she's supposed to be working on now.

Kim and Kanye's world-wind luv affair shows no signs of slowing down. The two have globe-trotted through Europe, wined, dined & partied in NYC and had Kardashian Family-time in LA.
And on Friday, they attended the grand opening of DASH LA --then took Kris to lunch. Saturday they visited an office building (wondering if it had anything to do with the rumored house they are supposedly looking for) before taking their luv to Southbeach, where they worked and I'm sure got in a little play too.
Kanye was in Miami to shoot the video for "Way to Cold" and "I Wish You Would" and Kim was there for a photo-shoot. I Wonder if she'll make a cameo in the video, especially since in the song Kanye, confesses his love for her.

Team USA has been in the Nation's capital since last week prepping for this summer's Olympic games. Yesterday both the men and women's teams conducted practice in front of Military Families and Veterans. And today both teams played against Brazil in exhibition games --as the President, First Lady, Malia and VP Joe Bidden cheered on (the men's team).
The POTUS, who is a huge basketball fan, was greeted with a rouse of applause and a standing ovation when he entered the arena. And the smiles on Team USA's faces were priceless, their look of pride was just touching.
Before the rousing applause, he (the President) first met and spent time with the Women's Team --who played first and blew past the Brazilian Team (96-67). Both the POTUS and Joe Bidden took pictures with the team, and had nothing but praise for the team.
Michelle and Malia arrived mid-way into the second quarter --and quickly settled in to watch the game with the Dad-in-Chief. The Pres and First Lady even got caught on the Kiss Cam, the first time the camera came around the President didn't notice it, but the second time, with Malia cheering on, he went in for the kiss.
At halftime the President gave his input on the whole Dream Team vs Today's Team. Being from Chicago we all know who he picked, the Jordan led Dream Team.

In the end the men led by Lebron's incredible defense and overall play, he had 30 points, they beat Brazil 80-69. I'm sure during the actual Games that victory margin will be much higher.
